- I'm a leading researcher in the amazing power certain foods have to alleviate, and even heal, many ailments. Not that's anything new. Over two thousand years ago, Ancient Greek physician Hippocrates (often called the Father of Medicine) said: "Let food be thy medicine". It's ironic, although doctors still swear the "Hippocratic Oath", the core philosophy of Hippocrates has largely fallen by the wayside, in favor of synthetic pharmaceuticals. More and more people are now interested in the therapeutic value of their food, so I'm making my store of knowledge available. And, if you want proof that you are what you eat: I'm sixty-three years old. I still working about twelve hours a day and never get ill -- not even a cold or flu. So I guess, I'm living proof that old Hippocrates was right on the money.
